the best tangy fish curry
- 4 basa fillets
- 1/2 bulb of garlic
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 medium onions
- 1 level teaspoon of chilli powder
- 1 heaped teaspoon turmeric
- 5 tomatoes
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- coriander
- Brown garlic, add onions & brown with salt
- Add some boiled water, chilli powder and turmeric – cook on high heat for 5 minutes
- Add more water and leave it on a low heat for 10 minutes
- Add tomatoes and lemon juice, and cover with a lid for 10 minutes and then blend
- Poach the fish in the pot for 10 minutes, and garnish with coriander
