Mika’s Lentil Soup

  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200g lentils
  • 800ml stock
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • parsley (fresh or dried) and black pepper to garnish
  1. brown the onion, carrot and garlic
  2. add the lentils, salt, stock, turmeric and cumin
  3. cook on high pressure for 10 minutes, and then blend
  4. add the lemon juice and garnish
