- 175g self raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 30g cocoa powder
- 175g butter
- 175g caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- sift the dry ingredients together
- cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy
- add the eggs to the butter mixture and mix well
- combine wet and dry ingredients
- bake at 170 for 30/40 minutes
Top with soured cream frosting:
Melt 150g chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, and mix well with 150g sour cream
