2 cups flour or SR flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
450ml buttermilk (lemon juice added to hot milk)
2 eggs
4 tbsp butter – melted
1 tsp vanilla extract – optional
1, In bowl- whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
2, In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk,eggs and vanilla extract.
3, Take your melted butter and slowly drizzle into wet ingredients.
4, Pour buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients and mix with wooden spoon. Do not overmix your cake batter or pancakes will be flat.
5, allow skillet to preheat.
6, scoop pancake batter onto pan and flip once you see bubbles form on the top of the pancake. repeat process.
