1 onion
Garlic bulb
Ginger
Olive oil
1 chicken cut
Carrots
Potatoes
Turmeric (fresh or ground)
Black pepper
Salt
Cook onions until soft, add garlic and ginger
When soft, add chicken along with salt and black pepper, once chicken has sealed, add half tsp of turmeric
Keep mixing to ensure it does not stick, for about 10-15 mins
Add sliced carrots, followed by potatoes, 10 mins apart
Ensure everything is mixed well. Add boiled water and leave to simmer for 30-45 mins.
Serve with lemon and coriander
